Pretty Cool French Video

I subscribed to his youtube site and watched a few of his videos.  He does some interesting stuff.  What I would like to see more of is the setup he used to drill the 20mm holes in the mft extention he made in the video.  He seems to use a regular rail and guides for the router but I can't make out exactly how the little wooden jig he fits in each hole works.  Maybe you can ask him about that also.

Thanks,
Rusty

Sure! I will do that once I have heard from him about the things we already discussed.

Hopefully the continued interest will prompt him to want to join the FOG!

Yes, from what I could make out (since I can't understand French) he's making an extension to the mft to clamp a cutoff or whatever.  What I'm interested in is the little gizmo he was using to space the holes he was drilling with the router.  He was using a regular rail also so no 32mm guide.  Sure hope we are able to get more info on this technique.

Eric has joined the FOG as member 'boisetmetal'  Be sure to check out his posts under that name.

As a follow up to me contacting him, he also sent the following still shots of the blade change adaptor - with dimensions - and a video that is also in English. I haven't watched the video yet as I'm busy doing other things, but here are the images and the link:

Hey eric,

I made your stand today. It isnt as nice as yours, but it does the job.  Got to sand it some tomorrow fine tune it a little.

Once again thanks

Good !

My first model wasn't nice. But I use it during long month…

So In my Workshop I have several prototype that are not beautiful. I use scrap wood purchased in DIY market. Sales caddies for a few euros.
The most important is to help our works !
