PS 420 EBQ-Plus Carvex vs Mafell P1CC (sort of a comparison) Skill Builder Video

Skill Builder posted the video of the Mafell P1CC:  It's a little it shorter than the TS55 vs MT55CC video at 28 minutes long, but not quite as good in my opinion.  I feel like they compared less of the Festool vs Mafell and focused more on just the Mafell.  They didn't even make any cuts with the Carvex.  I guess it was actually more of a review than a comparison.

I know some folks were looking forward to this video.

It's interesting but same as with the previous vid I can't understand how the guy hasn't spent 30 minutes figuring out the tool himself before recording a video about it. It seems extremely lazy and it wastes a LOT of time on the video where he's looking for something and excusing himself for not knowing how a feature works or where a button is.

I understand what you mean.  On the other hand, I kinda feel like it's a more genuine initial gut impression of the tool as opposed to a rehearsed and scripted performance.

It would be, if he didn't say he got the whole thing demonstrated by a Mafell sales guy.

Oh I missed when he said that.  I guess that can happen when not paying full attention and also playing back at 2x speed.

Good call, perhaps 2x speed will alleviate my annoyances
It's still interesting to see a decent "user vid" of the P1cc other than "look how square it cuts".

I’ve never seen a video review of a tool that was worth the time.

If it hasn’t been written down it isn’t thoughtful and it likely isn’t useful.
