Pvc trim

I live and work right near the ocean, so many of our projects use pvc trim on the exterior of the house.  While I despise using it, its the only thing that lasts on the shore.

Today the sider was starting and the pvc corners were supposed to come with a channel in them for the siding.  Well it didn't and I was called in to fix it as it would take a few days to get the ones with channels in them.  So I reached for my trusty 1400 router, edge guide, ct22 and went to work.  The ct22 caught a bunch of the dust but not all of it. The biggest complaint I have is the dust and how hard it is to manage by yourself.  Once its up the pvc trim looks great, holds paint well if you choose to paint and will outlast me.

Heres a pic of the router and board when I was done making up 10) 10' corners

I'm sure that the last thing you want to do is sweep up the mess under what looks to be a brutal sun.

I swept up and managed to fill a garbage can half way up.  It was stupid hot in the sun today..  I need to get back inside to some trim, next week hopefully.
