QSWO Bathroom cabinet -- finished

I thought hidden hinges would be against the aesthetic of exposed iron hardware you see on other similar pieces, but looking at it again, I agree.  Looks out of place.

Nice work on the cabinet.  I think it is stunning, however, the hinges really take away the beauty.  I'd try to do something hidden.  Thank you Edward for sharing.  Bill

I agree about the hinges not fitting the rest of the cabinet.  They just seem to jump out at you and the only thing you remember later is those ugly bow ties.  They detract from the fine craftsmanship and good taste you have put into all the rest of the project.  I agree that hidden hinges would be preferable.  I really like the rest of the hardware.  It really fits the design without distracting from the wood work.
I really like the design.  A year ago, i built a trestle table for my favorite cousins.  In the house there is a small lavatory with a very cheap cabinet beside the sink.  I have been thinking of a better cabinet for them.  Somethink like this I think wood be great.  Not exact, but you have given me some ideas.  Hope you won't mind.  not to build before next spring.

I think it looks great as is, but making it appear hinge-less would look much better, IMHO.
