Does anyone know the size of the bolt in the rail dogs?  I am trying to make a jig to use with the MFT and think the rail dogs would be good to keep in place yet easy to put away when done.

Sal is right, it is a 1/4-20 bolt.

What kind of a jig are you trying to make? Maybe I can custom make something for the job.

It is for my kreg jig.  It was moving around while using on a portable bench, so I figured why not use the MFT to secure.  I would have put between my qwas dogs, but the width doesnt allow that. I am making a bed and need to assemble on site without being able to glue so the pocket screws are best option.  I appreciate the offer of trying to make something but my deadline is approaching. If I can find a bolt long enough it should work, otherwise I may just buy a 3/4 dowel, and even though it will have some play, better than nothing.  The other option may be a qwas dog and clamping elements.

Is it possible to attach the jig to a larger piece of plywood and then drill some 13/16" holes in the new plywood base for the head of Qwas Dogs to sit in.

It is attached to a 48" x 10" piece of 3/4 ply.  I could try that method.  Thanks.
