Recomend an Internet Dealer based in Arizona or Nevada?

I am not sure I understand what you mean...

Amazon started charging sales tax on items THEY sold in Sept 2012.  But that does not effect all Internet retailers.

Here is an example.  If I was to buy a 1400 EQ router from "Amazon", I would pay sales tax because Amazon is the retailer.  If I click on the "8 new" link just after the description, I will see a list of other internet dealers selling "through" Amazon, but more and likely there will be no sales tax.  ToolNut is a good example - but they are out of New York...  I end up paying Amazon and ToolNut ships me the router

The advantage of buying "through" Amazon is they make it really convenient to look up past purchases in my order history (which goes back to 1999).  Remember when Amazon use to have a "Tool Crib" and sent out catalogs with great deals?  Also, Amazon has outstanding customer service.  Even if the new internet sales bill gets passed - I would still probably buy from Amazon since I subscribe to  Prime and they make it very convenient.

Unfortunately my other favorite tool dealer - McFeelys also charges sales tax to California now so I can't use them either

To reiterate my earlier point, not paying the tax in ca is breaking the law, the tax is the responsibility of the buyer regardless of the in-state seller acting as a slave collection agency for the govt. I understand many people ignore this obligation but it doesn't make it right. And if this is deducted for business purposes and you get audited, well they will discover it and have their way with you adding late fees and penalties. Do as you wish, but be aware of the possible consequences

None of those are really into on-line sales. For a California on-line Festool dealer I recommend my pals at In-Touch Tools of Palm Desert, CA Talk to Aldo at 888-705-6510.

+1 for In-Touch.  Great people to deal with.

I have purchased things from a bunch of the online dealers here. They are all good.

Don't go check something out in person and then go home and order it online from someone else.  That's lame.

Ya know Vinnie,

I did that before ( showrooming)  and felt guilty for some odd reason. I dont do it anymore…

This seems to be affecting only Amazon customers in California. I don't pay any taxes when ordering to Florida.

Amazon has a brick and mortar building in California, like Newegg has one in NJ, I pay taxes. In will also pay taxes when ordering from Bob and getting the goods in NJ. Delaware has no sales taxes and buying a computer in a Bestbuy  store is sales tax free but if I ship it to Florida, they charge me Taxes in Delaware.

Complicated but dealers know when they will charge you taxes or not.
Cheers
Luis
