I would love an RS2E but will not buy one with out the plug-it. I also own a few routers with dust extraction hoods that fit the festool hose. I want to be able to use all my tools as efficiently as possible. How about you?

I seem to remember (seem is the operative word because I don't remember much of anything) aprevious discussion on the FOG of plug it adapters.  They are available in at least two different lengths here and I have fitted several.  If Festool USA won't 'fess up' then I'm sure a shipment from Europe in bulk must be possible.  I suppose adaption might create warranty issues, but if anyone did have a problem they could put back the old cable.  Surely the FOG or an ISA could get together and made a bulk order direct from Germany.  A pigtail hanging off various older model Festools is less practical than a plug it socket, but its still a big time saver.  I'm after one now for my Lamello biscuit jointer.
