Rigid shop vac to Festool 125ETS Sander

I recently purchased my Festool 125ETS Sander and am incredibly excited to get it up and running in the shop. Adding the Festool vac will have to be a future addition due to finances. I currently have a 12 gallon Rigid shop vac that takes a 2.5" hose. Can someone help me figure out what is the best way would be to hook my Rigid vac up to my sander (without using duct tape as the answer). The guy at Woodcraft told me that there is a rubberized fitting that could help make the transition, but didn't give me any other direction besides that. Thanks!!

I have a Festool RO 125 hooked up to my Rigid Shop Vac using this hose from Amazon:

Festool 452877 Non-Antistatic Hose

I didn't need to do anything to adapt the hose.  Fitted perfectly to the Vac and sander.
