Id hand sand them use a foam pad, you could eve use a fine scotchbrite pad.

I got a foam pad which worked well for sanding them just not shaping them.

Gotta save money got 3phase to sort out the farmer who is the biggest arse around here has said no to digging a trench 1.5 metres into his field which he just uses for cows.  1.5metres!!!!!!!!   !!

So now I gotta either go left around his field but from costing me £3500 if he let me dig into his field it will cost me a extra £20k new transformer.

If I go right around his field ill have to dig a trench extra 100metres long don't know what that is going to cost extra cable.

He's a horrible person always has been what comes round goes around.

We've been building a great big mansion near Guildford . It's built on farmers land you have to punch a code in to get thru a gate and then drive about 300m to the house . There's some sort of game keeper / estate manager there and he's a right pain in the backside too. He even wanted money for the extra electricity being used every time a van goes thru the electric gates.

For those sort of costs just do it at night and make it neat and quick. Stick a bit of cow sh1t over the top and sorted...

When i was living on my uncle's farm (JMB, you better be careful how you talk about farmers  [dead horse]) we had a cider press and made cider every fall.  My brother, a neighbor and i decided to make enough for a couple of school parties.  My brother and Herb were in 4th grade and i was in 5th so we were going to treat both grades to Halloween parties (cider only)  we were running out of apples from our trees and Herb and my brother went up into a neighbors pasture with a small wagon and a couple of 1/2 bushel baskets and loaded up.  Foolishly, they hauled their load down the road directly in front to of the farmer's house.

They were spotted and questioned about where they had gotten the apples, to which they answered thruthfully.  The farmer told them it was ok as long as they paid him 25 cents a basket.  When they got back to our own place, they told me what had happened.  We had another wagon that could carry 3 full bushels so i suggested we use that wagon for the next trip. Of course, if the farmer was going charge 25 cents per 1/2 bushel, it could get expensive to haul 3 full bushels, but i had that n mind as i made my suggestion.

My plan, which is what we implemented, was for Herb and my brother to go right up the road past the farm and stop in and pay for the two half bushels before going to the orchard.  I would take the larger wagon, glutton for punishment as i was, up thru our own pasture lots where I would not be seen from the owner's house.  Herb and brother would haul their load back home right in front of the owner's house while i struggled with the heavier load back thru our own woods. 

Damn, that wagon was heavy but the cider sure did turn out great.  We were top dogs at school for a while. 8)

Might be cheaper to buy a generator at this rate, or rent an industrial unit!
