The swordsaw will likely never make it to the US market is my guess.
Never say "Never" my good man,if they brought the insanely expensive Conturo over why not the Swordsaw. We need to raise heck and we'll get it !!!!  [mad]

Limited niche market and more importantly liability & UL approval. Never. Ever.

The same could've been said about the TrackSaw but look what happened. I can think of many uses for the SwordSaw like say the big boom in reclaimed wood market, etc.

If you want a sword saw then just buy one. Festool and Mafell both sell them in 230v, and makita is Japanese, where they also have ~110v.
The wood has
No idea about the colour of the saw.

We go from the awkwardness of using a Ro 90 to sword saws and gun control. From sanders to weaponry? Sometimes I do wonder about the direction these posts take.

Shhh, Holmz, not so loud... The wood is always watching and listening .... [poke] [poke] [poke]

The comparison and comments related to gun control have been removed. Highly volatile topic and FOG is not the place for it.

Thanks,

Seth
