Ro 90 or ro150

I have both of them and they are great sanders. They both have their place based on size of project.

Well I've made my mind up at last lol just ordered the rotex 150 give it a year and I will probably have the 90 too  [big grin]

Cheers for all the advice guys  ;D

The beast has landed :)

8.30 am knock at the door and here it is. I was worried it would be old stock or damaged as it was very cheap but so far looks perfect. It was just wrapped in bubble wrap (no cardboard box) but survived the trip fine.

The same company has a few other cheap tools so if you're in the market for anything take a look at their site.

Just Google cts ironmongery.

How are you getting on with it?

Am now wantonly staring down the barrel of a possible RO90.

Is there a "selection box" of abrasives I should be looking at does anyone know?

Loving it . I've not bought any more abrasives yet just using a few sample ones I kept from the demo. It really works fast when using the rotex mode.

If you're after a 110v ro90 there was one on the site I got my 150 from

240 all the way. In fact, my "local" is a little cheaper on the 110 too.

Glad to hear it though. Wonder if I should organise a demo to grab some samples.

I've been visiting our local beach a lot recently and have become a bit of a beach comber. I think tomorrow I'm going to try and nab this beauty.

who is your local?

Nuts and Bolts/Power Tool Supplies.

Funny thing AndyMan, that lump of wood could easily have come from South Wales. I suspect in South Wales you'll hear me and a mate screaming when we put our backs out trying to shift it tomorrow too.

I gave it a kick this morning when I was walking the dog, barely moved. It's certainly saturated but I feel like I should try and save it before someone chainsaws it up for bad firewood.

The beach is Berrow, directly opposite Barry, bad currents so next high tide it'll most likely disappear.

Can't justify both at the moment but it does seem now that the 90 will do the job. Anyone using a 90 for sanding large solid wood worktops for example ?

No.

Get the 150 first if your doing large work, if not, the 90 will suffice
until you obtain the 150.

Have both, and they're awesome for different tasks.

Yeah when we were down that way on holiday we heard that that stretch of water was very dangerous because of the currents.

Got it. Now...what to do with it.
