Hi all
Recently purchased a rotex 150 to finish off a oak worktop

I'm in two minds to part ways with but after seeing a few comments on car body repairs I thought  might a gain a little bit more use out of the machine

Could I ask advice on the setup up I would need yo buff/polish out a scuff and scratch
Thanks in advance

I use the yellow pads with the 6000 festool polish for very deep scratches and then 8000, 10000, 11000 with a softer pad. (I have a pad for each grit).

For light scratches 8000-10000. Great results,  has saved me hundreds.

I would recommend getting thd the felt pad to use at the end of your polishing sequence. IMHO

The pdf doesn't seem to mention the RO90, do these not exist for that does anyone know?

All of the polishing accessories are also available for the RO 90. I use the 90 to buff out headlight covers. I just think this brochure was produced before the RO 90 was released.

Brilliant cheers, was late for me when I typed that so I couldn't be bothered to check but was sure I'd seen them somewhere listed. I'll look out for a how-to video on polishing with a Rotex as I'd love to try it.

Good good, that's about as complicated as I thought it might be. I'll stick to using an oily rag  [embarassed]

Its very straightforward.  Once you have the pads and polishing compound its a breeze.  Saves a lot of money
