Ruler clamps for Festool guide rail

Hello,

I'm from Europe and wandet to by the woodpeckers precision woodworking Story Stick Pro. Unfortunately this is not yet available in Europe for a normal price. So I decided to make it myself with 3d Printing. Here you can find the result.

I viewed you stops and they really look nice.  Are you offering them as an alternative to the Festool p/n 495 542, Adjustable Stops used on the MFT fence?  Do they come with the knob shown on the web site?

They are meant to use as a precise repeatable measurement tool( just like the story stick prohttp://www.woodpeck.com/sspro96.html). So you can set the clamps on the right distance and sign your line. In the middle of the clamp, I add a 1 mm gap in where you can sign. This helps you to work faster while keeping your work precise. At the other end, you can find a small 0.5 mm tip that can help you to set the right measurement. The tip is lifted with one mm so you can put your ruler underneath (see picture). The clams are coming without the knob. Unfortunately, the clamps will be too expensive when I design a 3d printed knob on it

Oh I see. So these are to use a guide rail as a story stick? Neat idea. Think Id rather they were CNCd out of aluminum, but this is nice and less expensive.

Yes exactly. That is indeed a better explanation . Unfortunately no CNC in my barn yet. But I made them available in steel as well. Still a bit expensive. Hi All,

I tested the ruler clamps for my self-build kitchen. I made some small improvements so you can now work with a very high precision. I have to say that I'm impressed that such a simple add on can help me to save a lot of time and mistakes. I make now a package of 2 so it is more affordable to try out. Also, I add some different colours that can help you when you try to differentiate to set over left or right aligned measurements.
