Sander for refinishing cabinets (corners and edges)

I have some cabinets that I need to refinish so I am looking to add a sander to go along with my Pro5 and 150/5 that will take care of the corners and edges.

I have not seen an RTS 400 in person so I do not know if it will fully get into the corners or if I should go with the DTS 400. 

Any recommendations?

I like the pointed front & curved edges of the DTS 400 pad better than the straight edges of the RTS 400 pad. I own both sanders, but use the DTS 400 the most

The RTS will get close but not all the way to the corner .  Don't have the DTS so can't say, but for corner and edge work I usually use the RO90 delta head setup, which really does the job in those types of spaces.  Plus you get a powerful Rotex sander to boot.  The only downside of the setup is that you chew through the replaceable delta pads fairly quickly if you're not careful (and sometimes even when you are), and so over the lifetime of the sander -- assuming you use it regularly -- replacement cost for those might even surpass that of a new DTS unit.

Welcome to FOG. When I refinished my kitchen and bathroom cabinets 4 years ago I used an ETS 125 and a RTS 400. Both worked quite well. I did have to swap out the 400's pad. All the corners I did wore the original out. The Ro 90 with its changeable pads would probably done better. But I was sanding veneer and you can burn through it very quickly. The 400 is lighter and a one handed sander. If you don't have a dust extractor get one it will make the work much more pleasant. Plus your lungs will really appreciate it. Whichever you choose you will find the sanders to be be joys to work with. Oh, because of the profiles on the doors I also got a LS 130.

The edge guard on the brand new DTS puts it head and shoulders above the RO 90's delta pad in my book. No more gouging into perpendicular surfaces.
