Senco compressor in a systainer

I just took the rubber feet off the bottom. That's the only mod. I also rotated the gauge so I could read the pressure, not really a mod though. The mods to the systainer was the MFT top, adding a plug port to the side and a rubber grommet to allow the hose to come out the side. I am planning to make a clip or something to hold the hose on the outside for when I am on site for quick mobility, but the will go in the systainer for storage.

Maybe this? Easy to remove so that the hook isn't sticking out for storage / transport.

I personally do have much of a problem with moisture. I live in AZ and my tank doesn't get much in the way of moisture build up. You can easily pull the unit out to drain at then end of the work day if needed.

I just went down the shop and tried it before you replied.

Ahh so you just take off the feet what about draining moisture are you worried about it now the valve is on top

It's a shame the handle is so long if it was a bit lower you wouldn't have to take off the feet

I wonder if it would fit in a sys 4

Yes the hose will fit through the top of the MFT top. I just liked the idea of being able to stack on top of the compressor Sys if I need to roll my tools into another space without having to pack everything up if I am still working on a job.

Just a thought does a hose fit through the mft holes I might do that

I did see where someone else cut down the handle and welded it back on shorter. I could have done that, but I thought it would just be easier to take off the feet since for the most part is can just stay in the systainer

Labels I added to MFT compressor systainer

Thanks Warren

I'm in no major panic for the compressor atm so I will wait to see if you get an answer.

Thanks again

William

Hi William

I've had a reply from SENCO. The unit is due to be launched in the UK, just do not know when. I'll post when I get more news or stock.

Best regards

Warren

Here is a much nicer label.
I don't like the Festool logo on other brand machine.

In Holland this compressor is sold in a T-Loc systainer SYS 4.
On the picture I see no handle on the compressor in the systainer.
You better contact Senco about this.
There's even a Senco version of the Schneider compressor.

You need to understand that the top photograph of the cylinder compressor in the Senco box has no resemblance to the bottom photograph with the gauges etc in the front of the box.

The one showing the gauges in the front of the sustainer is a mock up of the Schneider compressor in the black systainer and the compressor in these systainers are specifically designed to fit the systainer.

The compressor is noisy, very noisy like a 50ltr compressor.

Loving my new senco can't believe how quiet it is compared to my other bostitch compressors.

Share pictures when you get it modified in your systainer.

Well had a bit of spare time this morning so got round to swapping the lids. I've now got my senco in a sys 5 with mft lid.
One question , can the output pressure gauge be reversed or do they only work one way. I was thinking of spinning it round so the gauge faces up and the knob is away from the tank.

Anyone ?

I just looked at mine which I picked up a few weeks ago and there's no reason why cannot be rotated to a better position for you.

I just took delivery of a Sys 5 Tloc to fit my new compressor into but as others have stated here it doesn't quite fit unless you make modifications to the handle.

So, I've cut the handle shorter by a probably an inch and a half and I'm going to ask my neighbor who has a welder if I can borrow it and re-weld the handle on so it will still fit in the systainer.
