Another piece you may wonder, what festool would you use on this? Actually my ROS125 is ideal for a project like this. This wood is extremely punky and had terrible tear out. I kicked on the ROS and the punkyness was gone with a quickness. an excellent way to sand a project like this. i still have to put finish on it but I'm very pleased with my results, being that this is the first time I've done one of these.

I cut it in 2, sanded it & glued it back together. LOL
