Small(ish) Precise Cuts - Which Tool?

Also there are UK firms that ship cheaply to the US.  Amazon.co.uk has worked for me in the past. =)  The MFS is super handy and (IMHO) worth doing the legwork to get despite the NAINA.

The MFS 400 is still available through some dealers and I can buy the extensions still.  I guess I should try a few methods and see which is best?

If this is the case, grab one. Most here have reported not being able to get the MFS or individual pieces.

10-4.  I think enought people have mentioned the MFS for me to seek one out!

you could always make your own MFS out of a suitable 80/20 type of extrusion like this

The MFS has been discontinued in North America. This was the reason for the emoji's at the end of my statement.

When was this discontinued?  I have one, I never use it, but I certainly should.  (I think I made an error once and the bit cut the edge...I've been MFS shy since).

How thick is that extrusion? The MFS is only about 12mm thick (I don't have one). Whatever the the thickness of the extrusion your maximum depth of cut is reduced by that amount.

You also need special fasteners to make the connections that only exist for certain sizes of extrusions.

Any UK dealers that would do this for us?

Festool USA, how about a "special order" service for things like this?

Ya I agree, I tried to go down that road but 80/20 in a thickness of 1/2", only allows clamping from one side. The connectors/connections were another issue.

They are 16mm, I don't have one either.
Regardless, MFS is hardly suitable for what OP is asking.
