I had needed to lock the FS-KS in position on the guide rail so I cobbled this together using the spare hole in the
connecting arm. (Circled) It also means repeatable cuts can be made without re-attaching the FS-KS to the rail again.

Using one of these left over nylon door glides and an 8mm csk machine screw and nut. The glide needed to be planed down a little bit and a block plane took care of that. You could use a milled section of close grained h/wood instead.

There has been some discussion re the angle not staying at the desired angle but this does not seem to be an issue on mine...... so far!

Hope this is of use to some one.

Yep.

I'll have to try that out. Does the nylon piece fit snugly into the top track of the rail...is there any play?

yes Rey, it was only the part that the nut was inset in that needed reducing (ie, the part with the counterink).
Once fitted and the screw tightened, much the same as on the joining bars, the angle unit stays in place to the guide rail and does not fall off
when moving the rail. This is also a bonus if you need an end stop , as with the FS-KS 'locked' onto the guide rail repeatable stopped angled cuts are faster and accurate, such as on a cut string staircase

I would have taken pics during construction but time was an issue during the build.
