This tracksaw was made in collaboration with Bosch/ Mafell Germany, unlike the cordless made in China Bosch tracksaw. This will work with both Festool and Mafell/Bosch tracks and has significantly more power (13 amps) than the Festool TS55 with more depth of cut (165mm blade) and already uses the same 1.8mm kerf as the newest TS55. I have owned an earlier TS55 and Makita tracksaw and this one is the most powerful and just as clean a cut as the Festool, Made in Germany.
