In fact I often change Bits and even collet.
And every time it is the struggle to find the right way, the best block machine ... And thinking about my stand for TS 75, I thought why not do the same with the router.

The idea:
Do I can change bits safe, without slipping, ripper without risking giving wrenches shot into the cutter.

SCORE:
No aesthetic, but already a prototype to see the usefulness of it and use it for a few weeks. He is always on time in a second time to make something more beautiful!

But what is good for one is good for OF 1400 all routers that can be ... From then we want to do things safe!

Nice video!

I have to admit that I am not as energetic as you. I normally just stand the router up on it's end (the opposite of how you'd normally use it) and change them that way. Not as secure, for sure - but it seems to work for me. Although now that you've built and posted this, I might reconsider.

I still need to get out in the shop and build your TS75 blade changing stand. THAT I absolutely need and will use!

Olé,

I made this stand to the router, parqu'il happened to me several times to slip with keys. That's OK with normal bits. But when they are long, and the carbide is not far from the Key, it's not top!
This is another concern that instability in handling, as risk of damaging the most fragile parts of the router, which is a hassle.
So right now I know I'm really into tranquility.
Pliers and Cutters in their homes, by just sitting on the table and so everything is easier!

I wait a bit, but I think to do this for other rippers!

I tried to watch your video but kept falling asleep because I felt like the ocean was going to take me away and I started seeing mermaids and dolphins and....

Great idea. Thanks for posting.

Could you post a link for your TS 75 blade changing stand please?

Thanks, Dick

Lol. I was also swayed by the nature sounds but when the sintar music came in, never mind.

Eric has already converted much of his site to be bi-lingual (french & english). You can visit his site directly at:

Thanks. That's a great (and simple!) one too, and if scaled down slightly, will work for the TS 55.

For my site I started translating (finally have the help of Google Translate), but it takes time anyway.
I am also a moderator on the forum Bosch "wedge-yourselfers"(coin des bricoleurs) who asks me time and I am actively involved in 3 other Forum.
For be filming the videos, make edits and subtitling. Because all the videos from the 190 are French and English, and it takes me a while too. And I do not manage to advance mahleureusement as I would like on the translation of our site ... (155 Pages)
especially since 2 or 3 months I want a presentation and how to make a clearer site. (Because it does not please me at the moment)
I have information, but it is unclear as presentation ...

So I give priority despite all the videos, forums and I find less time for my site.

Take care of yourself
