Steve Jones TSK1 Feedback

How about a section for third party product manufacturers and their products.  The makers of products that work with Festool products, add-ons, blades, abrassives, whatever.  This would be distinct from the dealers section.  Of course a dealer may also be a maker of an add-on so they would range into both areas.  Steve comes up with a cool new thingy not really intending to market it.  If it takes off he moves it his place in the third party area.  Sort of like the Eurekazone thing at Sawmillcreek.  I'd like the FOG to be the place for that.

Sounds good to me.

Where is that forum now?
It was  hidden at the bottom of the SMC but I can't find them now.
The official "ez focus group" forum is open but "dead"

The Creek had to go to an ad-supported model because such a small percentage of users were willing to kick in a few bucks to support the huge infrastructure involved in a site that size.

The dedicated manufacturer forums were asked to financially support the cost of hosting, bandwidth, etc. their forums, with probably a bit added for the advertising aspect.

EZ decided to stop paying for this.

While I would hope we don't see Festool 'over-moderate' the forum when competing products are being discussed, I wouldn't blame them one bit if they chose not to establish mini-forums for competitors.

what ever happened to the man with the plan? steve jones.
his table saw accessory was very cool!
did anyone end up buying one?

i have noticed he no longer posts on the fog and that he sold all his festools last year.
does anyone know where it all went wrong?

regards, justin.

AdapTableTool, Inc. production is on hold. Steve is currently pursuing other interests...

Too bad this didn't work out for Steve. Regarding the last thread about the man who got 1,5 million after a table saw accident, I think America is not yet ready for a product like the TSCK1.

That's too bad.  I had contacted Steve about purchasing one for the TS75 but, as far as I know, a TS75 model was never produced.

I very much admire Steve's creativity and I hope that he is enjoying whatever he is doing now.
