Sticking guide rail supports MFT

After a Festool and woodworking hiatus I have recently gotten back into woodworking and noticed that after raising and lowering the guide rail supports when I attempt to lock either the front or the back the handle seems to “stick“. By moving it back-and-forth I can usually get it to lock. I have adjusted the screws that hold the handle numerous times but really have not gotten rid of this sticking issue. The clamps to lock the guide rail on the front and back simply do not move smoothly.

Any suggestions?

The two screws on the handle require minute adjustments and can be frustrating.  Look at this video starting at about the 1:30 mark.

Ya gotta sort of lift up on the handle and pull it out/towards you before ya lock it down or it will feel like it sticking and not locking easily.

Dont ask me how I know that.

Since ya messed with the adjustment , ya may have to loosen the tightening screws then push down on the support it will move down, then tighten and push again. Keep doing it until the screws are just tight enough to where the support wont move down then tighten it just a tad more maybe a 8th or so of a turn

Mine have been sticky for years and I just whack em down with the palm of my hand… Must try your method before I break something, I guess.
