Stuck Drill Bit in Makita Impact Driver

A couple weeks ago I was remodeling in a tight space.  I needed a shorter drill length than my Makita so I threw a hex-bottomed countersink into my Makita impact.  It is stuck.  I've removed the hex collar, but I still can't get the bit out.  Any ideas out there?

impact bits usually stick due to the impact wedging the corners

grip the bit with pliers and reverse the drill

or

bang the end of the bit with a hammer or on something hard

both methods work, the 2nd is the quickest

So the video shows pretty well what I did, but the bit doesn't fall out.  In fact I've gone on to do considerable violence with hammers and vise-grips to no avail trying to pull what's left of the bit out.

Clamp the bit into a vice, reverse the drill, and give the trigger a few short squeezes.  If it's still stuck, alternate between forward and reverse and try a few more times.

carefully CA (instant) glue the end of a skewer to the bit taking care not to get any glue on the inside chuck walls.  See if you can light tap the sides of the chuck and pull the bit out.

that's frustrating. i'd try heating it with a torch and maybe that'll be enough to let the bit have some space. maybe some lubricating oil and a couple well place blows with a nail set in the counterclockwise direction. hope you get it.

I couldn't find my torch, but the kitchen stove did the trick.  Thanks.  Driver is back together and working.  I'm not going to try drilling with it again though!
