Supermax or Jet Performax?

Tom,

I assume you checked with Wynn Environmental to see if they make one to fit your model.  Top notch filtration.https://wynnenv.com/woodworking-filters/

Do you have the 19-38 with the interchangeable heads?  I've looked at it but the sandpaper and wire brush heads are expensive!

I'm currently running an older Performax 37x2.

I did not know about them, thanks for the link. I'll take a look.

Yes, the combo unit. It comes with the brush head, the paper drum was not that expensive. I end up getting it from your area, they were the only ones with one in stock when I needed it.

Choosing the right paper grit and belt speed makes all the difference when using the drum.

I had to sand some piece that had finish on one side, they slipped on the belt.

Just curious Tom, how uniform is the sanded surface from edge to edge? The castings certainly look robust enough.

The platen is adjustable, mine is 0 difference over 19". It's all in the set up.

They have the filter for mine. Mine is the same as the one pictured on their home page. I think all these styles come off the same assembly line, paint color is the only thing that looks different.

The filter is going to cost me as much as I paid for the used collector.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated.
