Does anybody have a better idea then this dinky little thing? The OF2200 has a guide rail base kit that is designed to make up for the height difference. I was wondering if anybody has made something for their OF 1400 that serves the same purpose? I may just buy a Hard Fiber Base Runner (492574 ) and glue a piece of material to the bottom to make up for that height difference the guide rail makes. Any thoughts or your innovations would be great.

Thanks

Matt

I cannablized the the connecting flange from my chip catcher so I can pop it on and off.  It pretty much stays on though because it improves general routing.  I think it's because the resulting center hole is a little smaller.  With this rig I normally use the back side of the guide so the router is closer to the support points.  I was going to get all uppity and accurate making dados like a Microfence guide using the Festool guide stop.  I was dreaming.  It's nice to be able to micro adjust but don't waste your time with the numbers on the green wheel.
