I answered "no" to the first question and was excused from the remainder of the survey. I just deleted the second copy I received.

I do think Festool would benefit from non-professional input.

I'm a professional contractor doing 8 digits in annual volume.  Most of my work is non-residential, but lots of kitchens for restaurants and offices.  We occasionally do residential projects as favors to commercial clients so we aren't specifically non-residential.  I wasn't sure how to answer the survery.  It really seemed to be aimed at a narrow band of contractor types.  When asked about hourly, is that what I charge for me or for my crew?

I received the survey twice but after answering no to being a professional contractor, I was cut lose as well!  I think that Festool might want to see what other users of their tools think as well as the 9 to 5 guys.

I got the survey twice last week.  I answered yes, the survey started and then said thank you and ended.  I got it twice more today and it worked as I expected it would be the questions were very limited.

Festool has had focus groups in the near recent past, so I would venture a guess that this is just a preliminary to something else.
