Hi, first post, been using Festool for years, along with other makes. Wouldn't say I was a complete fanboy.
But I have a question about my SYS-MFT, under the lid and along the sides there are two rectangular holes that line up under the top, does anyone know what these are for?

As I've seen mention of "13 clamping points" on the Festool USA site and there are 11 "holes" I'd always assumed that's what they were for.

....agreed - screw and cam clamps will fit from the FS rail.....

Here ya go, a picture is worth....! Also one image of the quick clamp in the top:

(This is for Ron--- See, I actually have used this one!) I have used the SYS-MFT on site to hold some shelves while I edge banded them. The Clamping Elements worked OK, the hole spacing, and recesses in the top are a bit awkward for these specific clamps.

The last photo solved a question to a problem that I never knew that I had.  What a great idea for a storage solution for my FastCap edge banding tools and supplies. I doubt that I'll be storing the banding material but I'll sure to store some spare sandpaper and a prestige Olfa knife. I tried this self adhesive banding system for the first time on my son's toy cabinet. As you can imagine, he's hard on everything and the edge banding has not suffered. Thanks for the great photos!
