Sys Tote 2

Anybody have any good ideas for organizing an open tote sys 2? I always end up just throwing my crap in it and digging for it later

        I haven't done anything with the interior but I did add some screwdriver holders to the ends. Drilled some holes in the end lip. Some round, some elongated. Added PVC tubes (glued on)  to keep them from toppling. Once in while a tube comes loose. There is probably a better way to attach them or maybe use something different. The existing holes in the corners can hold some things...... narrow drivers (torx) and awls. Plugged the bottom on one to hold the pencil.

I used various sizes of PVC pipe from 3" down, filled both cavities.  Deep tools in the pipes and spaces between, works well for my various types of toools.

That’s a great idea with the pipe rounds and one I’ll likely copy.

I’ve musically made do with the pockets of a nylon framing belt full of hard tools (framing, anything indelicate) on one side with my framing hammer and big bar wrapped up in a belted loop on top. On the other side is a soft old suede mini apron that ready to just throw on and be added to as required, along with all my squares and delicate stuff. It looks more organized than it is, as all my fine finish stuff is kept in foam in Systainers. (Chisels, planers, anything expensive and/or delicate.

I will try the pipes though, perhaps with a foam bottom to avoid rattling. (The thing I like most about using belt pockets is the lack of rattling.)

I've drilled some holes in the lip, the CXS drill belt clips fit into the corners.

It is a Thingamejig, one of the 4 scribes I carry.

The black thing stuck to the 1900 box cover is another one of the scribes I carry. It is a Razor Scribe. The yellow and black thing stuck to the cover is a Hanson magnetic stud finder.
