T-15 losing power

This is kinda weird.  I was drilling some pilot holes and the drill would suddenly lose about half or more of it's power for no apparent reason.  It would slow down to a crawl, like it was under a big load.  Then, it would resume normally.  I changed the battery thinking that was it but it still did the same thing.  It was pretty soft wood, cypress, so it wasn't laboring because of the species.  It seems that something in the electronics was acting up.  It didn't do it while in screwing mode, just drilling mode.  It doesn't seem to have the torque it normally has.  Maybe a return trip to Indiana is indicated?

had 2 repairs because of that and mine has done it again. I wouldn't buy another festool drill because of this, very poor

Had this happen to my C12 but only after heavy usage and abuse. Never repaired it.

I guess I'll call the service center this morning and see what's what.  Love the drill, tho.

Howard, I just spoke with Lester in our repair department. He was not aware of such a problem but he's expecting your call. I'm sure he will take good care of you. Sorry for the trouble and the inconvenience.

mine was a few month old when it first happened and also with bit pointing up in the air it sounded rough
