Amazon...took delivery yesterday. Shipping was about 3 weeks. Current price is substantially higher now.

I dont mind telling, I bought mine in the UK as I am living here for another 4 months. Then it will be shipped back to the USA with my household goods.
So in a away, I dont have mine in the states yet, but it will be soon.
You can find them for sale occasionally on Craigslist, Ebay etc...

It is well known that Amazon will ship certain things internationally for their Prime members. Has been a loophole for a very long time.
If Festool wants to go after Amazon, let them.
FYI, I have had my TS 75 insert for a few years now. Excellent quality.

There are numerous ways that people obtain a CMS insert for a non-supported-in-this-use-in-NA tool.
As a member I have thought long and hard about getting one myself, but as a Moderator here I am supposed to cut and paste the following:

Warning: The Festool CMS System is approved for use with only the OF 1400 and OF 1010 routers in the US and Canadian markets. It is not approved for use with the OF 2200, nor with any of the CMS modules currently available outside the US and Canadian markets (TS, Jigsaw and sanding modules). Festool USA does not endorse the use of these components and will not support them with spare parts or repairs. The use of anything other than the OF 1400 and OF 1010 routers and their related accessories with the CMS will void the warranty agreement on the entire system for customers within the US and Canada. I have the TS75 CMS module installed in the CMS-VL with an Incra LS Super System (metric). Its a nice setup and I am pleased with it. I also have a TS55R so the TS75 stays in the CMS module. Now that I have a lot more shop space I will be adding a full size tablesaw soon. As others have mentioned, Amazon UK is a good place to look. [wink]

The TS 75 collection uses the port on the back of the saw and the blade guard to collect. Most materials the collection is great but MDF (like always) can be dusty depending on the cuts.
I really like my setup and will upgrade to full equipment later this year or next but the setup has been great.

To be honest, I have the GE CMS model w a TS 75 module w CS 50 fence and the side extension table. The dust collection is OK, as with the Y connector one hose attaches to the blade guard and one attaches to the back of the TS. I found the quality of the cut is OK. Not as good as my TS 55 when using it on a rail. I get teeth marks on the cuts which have to be cleaned up unless I plan on doing glue ups.
I am using a panther blade in the saw. Which the teeth marks is common as it is a agressive ripping blade.
Adjusting the CS 50 fence along with the extension table (for me) was a pain. It took a while but I finally got it sorted.
I like the idea of having modules being able to just dropping a module into the CMS making my cuts, pulling the module out and dropping another module in it and continung with the project.
With that being said, make a mistake and out comes one module and replace it with another etc.
That gets a little old unless you dont make mistakes.
So what I did was go buy a VL stand ( no modules just the stand only (we can get those here I dont think you can get a stand alone CMS with out the router module in the states).
So after adding up the cost for all these items, yes the modules are convenient but you might be better well served $$$$ wise to buy a nice contractor saw like a Bosch or Dewalt that are small enough to store out of the way and will save you a lot of $$$$.
Especially because you indicated that you were going to get a stationary saw.
Though I always had a stationary saw I dont anymore as I wanted to go to the festool system and living over here I have the ability to buy all the modules and the NAINA items.
I also have a nice stationary Jet jointer which is in storage that Ill get when I get home. I can use the jointer to clean up the teeth marks or even use my 850 with the bench stand If I needed/wanted to.
I would consider and think about the actual cost involved, add up the cost of a TS 75 or if you are going to use you TS 55 then I would become more of a hassle fitting the saw to the module everytime you have to use it and if you have to go a make a few additional cuts installing into the module and taking it out of the module.
If you consider the cost of the saw (if you want a TS 75 mounted full time in the module) the module, CS 50 fence, extension table plus the ability of being able to store the modules out of the way vs the quality of cuts a Bosch/Dewalt contractors (bench type) saw might do ya.
This is my opinion of course, anyone here can get the modules (Amazon a UK/German tool store) if they wanted one. But once you add up the cost.. you might want to reconsider.

I have the Bosch Reaxx job site saw and have wondered how the CMS could be better? Lighter weight maybe, but not better. The cost of the CMS and TS 75 together are much more than a Sawstop or Bosch job site saw.
The Bosch job site saw can use Jessem Clear Cut guides, a dado blade, and most other common table saw accessories. Can the CMS do the same?

No it can't use a dado blade , it can use the clear cut guides. It's made for sawing. Though great cross cutting with the sliding table. The main advantage is it's space saving modules. I make my own modules and it's great because as I'm shop bound for the most part I store the modules I made on the wall with the rest of the modules and swap them in when needed. I've made modules for my bench top 5" disks/. 4" belt sander , my Craig jig, and just about any other bench top tool I have and use.
