Table top - requesting opinions

I'm about done with two of these bedside tables.  They aren't my design (the customer saw something very similar but wanted them in walnut and with different dimensions) but they've been fun to work on.  What do you guys think about possible edge treatment for the tops?  I can leave it as is or I was thinking of a slight bevel on the underside.  Any thoughts or other suggestions?

Bevel the lower ⅓ of the top thickness 45º. Round over the top edge to match the leg round over.

Agreed. If top is 3/4 or 19mm thick a 1/2"-7/16 reveal looks good on an over hang of 1 7/8" to 2 1/4". If I was rounding over I would make the reveal a little thicker as the round over softens the edge.

I'd disagree with that. I'd go for a nice shallow bevel to the underside (about 30-40mm back) reducing the edge to around 1/3rd of what it is now. Don't round over the top edge, just knock the arris off.

Just my opinion.

Nice table. How thick is your top?

The legs on your table are not rounded over so the top suits it but the edges on  Russ' table legs appear to be rounded over...so I think the contrast would look odd, but I prefer no round over like your table for sure.

The legs aren't rounded over, just knocked the edges down.  I'm inclined to go with the bevel, the flat edge seems a bit too plain.

Great job on table! I think with the whole thing being built sqaured, that you should take the sharp off the edges and Leave it to match the build. Which you obviously put in hard work on this and it looks good now . Now the fun part comes...finishing it. Let us know how you are going to do the finish!

Nice work!  I would bevel -- probably 20 - 30 degrees would be about right.

Here are the finished tables.  I've done three other jobs for the same customer and all of them have been in walnut with a tung oil finish.  I ended up beveling the underside of the table edge, as was recommended by some of you, and I think it turned out well.  They get delivered tomorrow and I'll take some better pictures then.  Thanks to everyone for the advice.

Great looking tables Russell. I like the joinery at the center of the circle...
