I just noticed that Forrest has augmented it's standard finger joint 10" blade #1 grind with a couple of 8" offerings.

Here's a 2-blade reversible set that produces 3/16" & 5/16" width cuts.

Pretty neat combination.  Maybe I'll have to try a set out.  I've used Forrest blades and dados for many years.  For square bottom cuts I use a No.1 grind Woodworker II and get great results.  These look like a great way to speed up the process for box joints.  The 8" diameter would be very handy for me since I down sized from a Unisaw to a portable DeWalt saw.  Thanks for posting the info.
