Hello!  I got my Sword from Bunny Bolts to day!!!    Edited: The tool is only avaliable in 240V

Just some quick pictures going to do some Videos in a min and more pictures!!

[attachimg=1]

Sitting on the Guide rail  Dont know if I would use if of the guide dont think I will.
[attachthumb=2]

It comes with one chain! I got another one for free cus I went to the NEC and 5000 Screws for the Dura Drive. It also comes with Oil bottle for the Chain
[attachthumb=3]

You can see the Chain is no where near the splinter guard and I havent even cut the splinter guard with the TS55 YET so it going to be even further away.

This is a good thing as its a tool which isnt designed to cut worktops! So you dont have to worry using this Sword on your TS55 rails as your splinter guards wont be affect at all. No worries there then!!!

OH also when angled at 60 degrees it still misses the splinter guard

not sure as means i cant use it on all jobs, like last week when i worked in a factory that only had 110v outlets everywhere apart from the kettle and microwave that came off fuse spurs

thats good so i wouldnt have to spend the extra to get another guide rail altho an extra 1 would be useful as only got 2 1400's

Umm dont know what to say they might bring out a 110 version?!?!?!

Well here are the sizes give or take 1 mm the Sword cutting depth is at certain angles.

0      = 205mm

17.5 = 195mm

22.5 = 190mm

35    = 170mm

45    = 150mm

60    = 110mm

think thats right!     Has that helped?!?!?!?

yes it has helped as i know a 7" rafter can be cut at 35 trouble is might be no good for smaller extention roofs with larger rafters

Just a Video  really nothing special!

you can see where to oil goes and how you can adjust the oil flow!   IF your cutting Kingspan you turn the oil down. They sell a special chain for cutting kingspan but I dont see why a universal chain wouldn't do it just as well. I had a look at the other special chain and it looks just the same as the universal chain just cost twice as much! I was going to go for it as I was aloud to get any chain for free so ofcorse you go for the most expensive but I dont think ill be cutting much insulation with it so I went for the universal one as a spare chain.   You see how you can easily adjust the chain tension! Also their is a 0 45 and 60 mark on the saw so you know where it cuts.   Also you dont see it on the video on the other side their is a mark so you know where the chain is cutting from the other side.

i know they do but they would have to do a lot of work to pay for themselfs as they are ridiculous prices

i still think about getting a chainsaw and head cutter for same price you paid for the sword saw

Yeah seen them! Some look well dodgy though.  Thats why I liked this one as its actually a chain saw made for this.  But I see why you would want a chain saw and the plate adapter. As you might want to do large cuts and the fact its 240V doesnt appeal to you.

its not that the 240 does not appeal to me, its just i dont want to spend that amount of money to be told i cant use it. also the cut depth concerns me a little as i use alot of 175 and 225 hence why im swinging towards the head cutter. Hmmm i wonder if the bar can be changed for a 250mm bar

Yeah I cant see any reason why the bar can not be altered to a longer bar. I just went out side to try it out in wood!  It flys through to wood! I cut it at 60 degrees!  cutting 4x4 I just placed the rail onto the timber with no clamps and just cut it!

Ummm!  Not seen that before! Interesting!  Wonder how long it lasts in the package if it goes out of date.  If not might buy some just to keep in the van. Ill research it a bit more though before I do buy.  The web site kinda repeats its self about 4 times so feels kinda unprofessional plus if it was SOOOOOOO good and easy to use any one can use it why is it not that popular. Or should I say why have I not hurd of it lol
