I've had my TS55 REQ a week.  It's a big step up from my ATF 55. I love the depth adjustments and track tolerance setting.

One of the touted features of the REQ is -1 and 47 deg bevels angles.

When would I use those settings?    Don't say to use them when I want to make a -1 deg cut.... [smile]
I don't recall ever making a bevel cut.  Perhaps I will now that I am working on building some furniture (I use that loosely).

Thanks for the edjamakation.

I often -1 bevel side stiles on bookshelves etc... to make scribing to out of plumb walls simple.  who knows when you'll run into one of those over or under 90 degree drywall corners [laughing]
