Check out this Great Russian wood workers Festool tracksaw blade adjustment system he built.
He is a Ukrainian woodworker.

Us old people still remember it as one, hard to grow up with one and now separate.

I have great respect for the whole region.

Ya know Howard, Im not entirely sure ya cant buy it here. After all its not a tool its a accessory . I would get a PN and call festool and see.

If not order it online from a Euro company that will ship here.

I called.  Nope.  NAINA.  Makes no sense since it's not a UL part.

How long is the rail for the sliding table? And roughly the width of the rail, and it's height.

Also how hard is taking it on and off?

My biggest issue is the festool vacuum/safety thing connector. Its not east to remove for non through cuts.

And yes I have a complete Cms router setup with out a set of extensions or sliding table. I can just transfer if needed from the cms saw.

Also I am not in for profit setting with these tools so the extra time to fiddle with the cms saw is just "unfun".

I also have ts55 stand alone so the 75 stays in the table

Hi Rick,

I do a lot of rebate work with my CMS-TS in fact if it were not for that capability I would not have the setup at all. The CMS-TS is the only table saw that I have and it does everything that I cannot do on my track saw cutting station created with the PGS.

I frequently remove then replace the blade guard and can do both operations in under 1 minute. The trick is to use a very neat little ratchet from Wera:

I do not use the adapter shown in the ratchet in this picture but put the hex bit straight into it. From frequent operations I can find the hex screw without crouching down or doing anything with the CMS and can locate and replace it easily too.

The reason I am happy to do rebates with the CMS-TS is that even when the blade guard and built-in riving knife are removed the saw's own riving knife comes into play. Even so, Festool do not recommend this usage and everyone must do this at their own risk.

Peter

I'm trying to figure out if the new MW 1000 could be attached directly and stabilized to the CMS base to fill in as an extension table...the set-ups that use an INCRA fence would perhaps be a nice upgrade.  Question back out there to the group...does the the MW1000 attached in some manner to a CMS edge profile to then become a useful accessory.  it would be available in NA.

Well..looking at a product website, the MW 1000 it is listed as compatible and an accessory to the CMS system so perhaps I've answered my own question on this.....

Just checked on my set ups I suppose you meant the extension to the MW 1000 (aka as Base TSB/1-MW 1000), which I own. The connector does fit the extrusions of the CMS-base unit, but because these lack the square slot under the V, the extension will not lock onto the CMS-GE, as it does with an MFT/3.
In practice this may not be an issue if you use it for lighter tasks. It will slide in the V-groove, so it is not as solid as it will be on the MFT/3.
Mine has a semi-permanent position on the right side of the MFT/3. And I love it. : )
