Powertool World are doing the 3000mm rail for £180 which I think is AUD 266!! [scared]

Yeh - they get us bg time on Festool down here. Local distribution is not via Festool themselves - more a "friend of Festool"

They have set up a good sales and support network - but prices on the bigger an bulkier things really sting. Generally I'm jealous of the preferential US pricing too - don't understand why all the other markets have to suffer.

is the bosch rail exactly the  same as the mafell?(apart from the branding and colour of the anti splinter strip)i have three of the 1.6m mafell rails but haven't seen the bosch apart from photos.
