UK has its own Festool TV Channel

Hey Dean

Im doing OK.

Still learning my way around.

Got my car from the states in.

Wish you guys earned to drive on the right side of the road.

Been stuck on the M25 and M1 already.

My house hold goods made it trough customs which means I'll be getting my tools finally. So I ca set up my shop.

That is unless some tosser robbed me for them during shipment.

Hi Dean - I just have to pull Ron's leg before I see him this weekend...here is a translation of his post:

Hey Dean
My Dear Dean

Im doing OK.
I am well and still taking the medication

Still learning my way around.
England is a lovely country but I keep getting lost

Got my car from the states in.
My motor car has arrived having been shipped from the United States

Wish you guys earned to drive on the right side of the road.
I find it difficult to adjust to driving on the left. I keep getting lost but the medication helps.

Been stuck on the M25 and M1 already.
The policeman told me it was illegal to do a U turn on the motorway - I told him I was lost. He told me to take less medication.

My house hold goods made it trough customs which means I'll be getting my tools finally. So I ca set up my shop.
The British customs officers must be very lax - they let all of my kit into the country, including my extra medication! I will finally be getting my tools so I can become a shopkeeper.

That is unless some tosser robbed me for them during shipment.
Unless, of course, somebody stole my tools on Shrove Tuesday.

Google Translate at its very best.

Peter

If they haven't through customs make sure you keep them locked up as there's plenty over here that will relieve you of them.
Welcome to the United Kingdom [welcome] [welcome]

Hey Ron, hope you're settling in ok.
Just to let you know the M25 is London's biggest free car park, but once you are parked up its a bit of a walk to town. [tongue]

I'm picturing a British motorway with a big old American pick up truck complete with a hillbilly shack on the back [eek]

No, Ron left the nice one in the US.

Ron, if you're around this weekend there's a big tool show on near to me. It's the d & m tool show at kempton park race course. Have a look on Google might interest you.

I heard about it, I was planning on going. Unless something important like a good pub gets in the way :>D

I know that Ron is very modest but I have managed to get some shots of his cars...

The first shows a policeman taking an interest in his Hillbilly car.

The second is Ron and his wife on their first outing on the English roads.

And the final one shows Ron and his family on a day trip.

He will never find Kempton!

Peter

I used the second vehicle on the M25, clears up traffic with very little effort.

Health and safety dont care for it much.

Im guessing because the steering wheel is on the other side of the vehicle.

Have you met anyone you struggle to understand yet because of the lingo. Jmb for example

I hang with one FOG member.

We have become pretty good friends.

I havent seen JMB since He mooned me on the M1

For the most part I can understand everyone just fine, sometimes I have them slow down and repeat what they said.

Everyone has been very nice to us here.
