For cutting out small spaces, such as electrical boxes, I've found products like this to be very handy! I've had great luck with the BitBuddie from Dustless Technologies. One I have opened to a 4" circle, another I've just cut a slot. Both do a great job of containing drywall or plaster dust, and since they're "hands free" it allows me to keep both hands on the Vecturo.

Im really disappointed with Festool on this.  They are bring us a tool that is already flooded in the US market.  Fein has been in the US market over 10 years.    Festool offers so many cool tools and accessories in Europe that we cannot get in the US.  Im very excited that we finally got the Quad Drill.  It would be awesome if we got the systainer attic with bit organization, chain saw,  and more centrotec bits.  Just to name a few.

Is there a bladed adapter that allows the universal mount blades to be used in the Vecturo?

It needs to be cordless! if you make a ts55 cordless theres no need for a small job corded multi tool. even the ts55 has a bag as dust collection, i agree with the carvex having the nice adapter plate for dust. plunge base, cordless and dust collection and this would be a clear winner.

Sorry to disagree.  I have had my Fein about 5 years and am constantly telling myself how glad I got the corded version.  I have used this multiple times for an hour at a time grinding or cutting or lots of things it was never meant for.  It always performed.  The last two years, I just kind of taped my Festool dust collection system to it and it kinda worked.

buyers remorse would suck. its like me saying i love my corded drills in which i dont own or ever will.

Festool does make a cool dust accessory for drills but it is NAINA

Dust collection is still an enigma yet to be unraveled with an oscillating multi tool.  One I dont think that will ever be solved.  It's like dust collection on a drill, ain't happening.

Have you seen the Milwaukee Hammervacs? Bosch makes a few for a full size dust collector as well...and some ridiculous looking ones...

Festool already has a solution for dust collection during drilling, though I don't know if it is NAINA or not. (I got mine in Germany)

The arguments for the corded Vecturo are quite understandable, but they are somewhat beside the point since the corded version is on its way to North America. The same arguments apply to the Carvex, yet Festool did provide both corded and cordless models.

I'm warming to the idea of the vecturo, of course I'll get it then, I think the form factor of the tool would be hurt by having the big flatpack batteries on it though.. So unless they come up with a battery pack like the one used in the CXS It will become a more cumbersome tool to use, and it's used in renovations where awkward angles and small clearances are the norm..

Cordless okay but redesign of the batterypacks form factor would be necessary..

I have many Festool products and they all work super.  I just can't justify the price tag on this one, however.  I do have a Fein and it's been a great tool and I probably won't buy the Vecturo unless something goes wrong with my Fein and then again I might just buy another Fein because of it's capabilities.

The Vecturo set is actually a reasonably good deal when you factor in the systainer with attic lid and the accessories.
