And great job.   They look awesome.

Do you have a you tube video of the door?
 
Island top boards are 2" thick around perimeter splined together center boards are 1" thick with splines at the seams.
To bring center panels flush with perimeter on the bottom is 1" vertical grain fir for stability as well. Everything glued with
epoxy west sys.
The door is cored veneered stile and rails. Rails are stub tenon with 14mm/140 mm dominoes 20 on each stile.
Door is 2.25 thick with  floating 2.5 " panels    48"/ 96 " overall = heavy... .. .really.  but was fun to build

Both a fantastic.  Showed to the Mrs., and her response was absolutely gorgeous. As someone else mentioned, I would love to see a video of the construction of the door.
 
Great job, did you use West Systems epoxy on the walnut countertop?  I love the finish and the wood selection is outstanding.
