Nice job ! On gates.
Okay let's keep posting we still have over 6,000 to go !!!!!!
Here you go Kreg !
Well this project is not going to win an award for break through project of the year. But the story behind this project is as followed .....
My boss asked if I would build inventory cabinets for the company. We are scheduled to add bar codes to the inventory this year. At the time we have a lot
of plastic bins we use to hold the inventory. With the bins stacked onto of one another, it can make it a little difficult to get to a item under another bin.
The boss did a search for us to improve our inventory storage. He was not happy with the products available and the price tags that went with them.
He had the idea for me to build something. He called me into his office, asked me to draw something up and put a price on it.
I come up with this design. Presented him with the price and he wanted me to make two of the cabinets.
I used 5/8" cdx plywood. At $28 a sheet. And some cheap $7 drawer slides. $1.50 handles. 1/4" plywood that was at the
shop already. So around $250 a cabinet.
The project price was well into his budget for corporate to okay it. After my boss seen the cabinets, he pulled out his phone, sent a picture off to corporate.
He later informed me that "the big boss" was very happy with the system and gave my boss and I the green light to build them when we need them.
I built them in my garage shop. So as payment for using my tools, I was able to buy myself a nice amount of plywood for my personal use. Which will
come in handy when I revamp my shop this spring.

In the 4th picture you can see the blue bins that we used. This was the way we kept the inventory. We still have a lot of blue bins. Which means
I have a lot more cabinets to build in the future. The plan is for me to build 2 to 4 cabinets about every 3 months.
Sorry for rambling on.
