What Festool Did You buy Today?

NYC traffic is probably pretty civilized compared to the above but it was very intimidating when I moved here from Tallahassee in 1977. But I was driving my old International Harvester pickup so I got over the fear of a fender bender quickly an learned how to swim with the sharks.

Hahaha 🤣
I appreciate the pictures, [member=75780]woodbutcherbower[/member]
Congratulations on the purchases.

Won't the contents just get all over the place if you put the Systainer on it's side? Cause no lid foam insert.

337 XXL Festool systainer. I really like these oversized systainers. I'm considering one to put both my sanders in. It fits the Excell 5 vacuum pump pods and other clamping things just right! I did try to pick up the domino df500? They didn't have one so I am waiting. I am building some tables and I do not need them for strength just alignment so I think this will get used more than the big brother of a beast. However, they did have that one on hand. I'll have the df500 in a week or three. I'm looking forward to using it. The biscuit joiner of late has been way too loose and not aligning things properly. I have given up on getting good biscuits. At least with the DF it is known for a good fit and if I run out of dominoes in a pinch I can make some.

I have two more tools on my current list for a new project I proposed and got approved, by my wife, today an HL850 came home with the coarse head they didn't have the fine but ordered it for me. I have wanted this for years! I am revving to go!

I would love to try one of those out. I don't know that I need one, but I'd still like to give it a go.

Anytime you're in my neck of the woods. I see it is discontinued on the FestoolUSA site. Glad I got it. It was the last one at the store.

Stopped by the local Woodcraft store and they had 7 different Festool tools that were on sale because they were still in the older Systainers. Picked up this set of Domino XL connectors for $60 off, everything's still shrink wrapped.  [smile]

Are there any substances known to the state of California to not cause cancer and/or pose a reproductive harm?

The new socket/ratchet set showed up today. I was expecting it tomorrow, but when the shipping/receiving lady came walking my way with a big smile, I knew it came early.
I got the installer's set too, the imperial version. I've been looking at them for a while and pulled the trigger on both at once and Hartville Hardware was so nice that they sent me a little Summer 22 buyers guide booklet along with it. So nice of them to encourage me [huh]

Sold my CT26 to a friend of mine and used the proceeds to help pay for a CT Midi and a CXS off of festoolrecon.

Surprised me that they didn't bump that one to a Sys3 137  [big grin]
Like the RTS 400; Used to be in Systainer Classic I, then in T-Loc 1, then in T-Loc 2 and now in Sys3 M 187. I'm not exactly sure why the box had to be 70mm higher than 15 years ago for what is basicly the same sander. Oh wait... they made a single inlay for RTS, DTS, ETS. Just as they did with the sandpaper Systainer inlay; more wasted space! That fits right with the competition (Bosch L-Boxx inlays), but it used to be... superior product for higher price.

So stupid with the handle sticking out. All hail Bott!

How does your Midi behave? If you put it manual on, then attach a machine to CT outlet, run attached machine, stop attached machine... does the vac keep running or not?
