What Festool Did You buy Today?

Bought a second hand OF 1010, MY2004
For $100  [big grin] I got a very nice router with “sticky” columns, complete with original systainer. It even came with a brand new Plug It cable. And the only part I will have to get is a new turret where one of the depth stops have broken. Soon to be teared down and overhauled.

Ooh nice. The lowest depth stop isn't really something you will miss. When I got my OF1010 new I adjusted that 3rd depthstop all the way down. Straight from the box Systainer it limited how deep the 1010 could go.

Just curious; does yours say 22.000 rpm, 23.000 rpm of 24.000 rpm? I bought mine in 2005, the catalog of the year before said 22.000 rpm, my machine says 23.000 rpm (if I remember right) and the catalog of the next year said 24.000
(years might be off slightly)

It’s me, I need to have all my gear in best possible condition, even with not used features  [wink]
Also,
Mine says 10000 - 24000 rpm on the machine label. It is in fact a 2003My.
Systainer says 23000
Manual says 23000, but not the “Q” model, which passes 26000: (Edit: always funny how iOS treats image rotation.. [crying]

Mine does not, that’s the OF 1400 hanging under there:

Mine no longer has the issue either after some "quality" time with the ETS EC and some 320 Granat.  [big grin] [big grin]

Before the intervention there was a gap of .012" on one side and .024" on the other. It's now down to .0015" and .002" respectively. Here are some before & after shots.

I ordered one of the new 5 meter 36mm hoses to use with my cordless tools.  Also ordered clips for when I need cords.

Ordered the new STM 1800 work table and bought the RAS-115 at clearance price (new at almost half of original $) and the other disc pad for the RAS-115.

Well I pulled the trigger and got the conturo. I have a lot of cabinets to build now and in the near future and couldn't see myself putting edge anding on all those with a iron. Also picked up a box of glue pucks and I didnt get te kit but got one accessory, the reel for long strips of banding as most of the cabinets will be roughly 8 ft high.

Oh I preordered the cutting table. After hauling all this ply off my truck into my temp shop, this cutting table will be a back and time saver for me.

I have a CT15 coming tomorrow. It will be put straight to work as a dedicated MFT vac. Already received the fast cap remote for it and an extra little splitter for the socket so I can plug some lights into it to trigger the auto start.

Hi, everyone I bought the TS55 REQ on Monday! I haven't used it yet. Now thinking about getting a dust extractor.

Well yesterday I did! I got the CT MIDI and ROTEX RO 90 DX FEQ-Plus! I'm so excited!

Finally pulled the trigger on a TSC 55 on Tuesday from the fine folks at Festools-Online.  Trying to be patient on the shipment as I'm sure they are backed up right now but figured I would come brag here while I wait!

I did get those recently as well, love the CT Mini/Midi, and the quiet, nimble, aggressive, handy, versatile RO 90. They will never leave me - unless something substantially better comes along.  [big grin]

I totally understand! I'll have to get the shop in some kind of order to post some pics.

TSO rail connectors... a nicely thought out piece of kit, I'd say.

A big thank you to Axminster, whose customary good service is holding up well, notwithstanding the challenges facing retail and overloaded delivery networks. I've had several orders from Axminster in the last few weeks. Everything takes a wee bit longer than their usual next day service, but all has arrived correct and bang on time within an advised one hour delivery slot. I'm impressed.

I'm restoring som kick strips made of brass on the teak wood doors I'm working on improving the security aspects and finishing as well. I've used 60-80-120-180 grits on the RO 90 and R0 150 it worked really well to bring back a surface that looked frankly unsalvageable to something pleasing to the eye once more. Still a lot of small scratches after the 180 gr. so I want to refine the surface further with finer grits. On an impuls I bought the granat screen net 240 og 320 instead of regular granat to sand out the scratches and will finish the surface with the platin 1000 and 2000 gr pads. Unfortunately they did not have a protection pad for the RO 150 so I'll be ordering one or two before using the granat screen so as not to damage the backing pad.

I recently bought the same and I would make one suggestion if you haven't already... Most of my time is with plywood so I changed over to the Universal blade and I can see a cut difference.  So far, so good.

I just got the new FS WA/90. A pricy bit of Aliminium, and the only difference is no blue Anodising and a green piece of Rubber on the TSO clip. It was a lot cheaper for me to get this in Germany than to import the TSO original from the States.
Will give it a test run tomorrow.
