What Festool Did You buy Today?

It has been that way for sometime I believe...  I got my RO 90 with 2 as well 3.5 years ago!

Enjoy that little devil!

Cheers. Bryan.

My only disappointment is that I only got two pieces of sandpaper as samples - one round and one delta.  In the past I have seen much more generous sample packs.  Is this the new norm, or was my kit supposed to have a lot more sandpaper?

Festool change the amount of the sample packs about 3-4 years ago. So, yes, this is the, well, not-so-new norm.

Temporarily into storage ...

... I'm about half way with the systainers.

We're going to put our house on the market in the middle of spring, then start the search. The plan is to find something that'll give us a lot more space and a some good opportunities to change our lifestyle.

Looks like you've increased the value of that storage facility by about $100k lol.

Whats the meaning UntidyShop? I'm guess you know where Kev is located and think he's headed for higher ground?

That's actually part of my strategy with getting the portable shop elements. I can move it all to high ground and work on rebuilding the flooded areas from a dry hill somewhere..

I am sure that Kev has other 'life style' reasons and he has previously posted that his house is high and dry; but I am 'stirring' him here as in July some nearby beach properties were significantly hit by huge storm surges.

[member=19746]Untidy Shop[/member] That's very tragic, but the face of the future I'm afraid. I'm in an exposed area but on slightly higher ground so may not be directly impacted, but what help is that if the infrastructure get destroyed.. Anyway portable is the way to go..

Placed my order with Toolnut/Festoolproducts for HKC 55, extra blades, 670 rail, bags, and Duo.  Can't wait...could have used it Friday.  I had to cut 1/8" off 1/4" acrylic pane with mail slot...used my cordless Supercut but the HKC would have been quicker and easier...especially since I was working outdoors in 98 feel PA sunshine.

Looks like he's got until the Year 2100 to sell up and run like hell according to that map.

Are you going rural Kev. There are bugger all bigger properties here in Western Sydney, they are all lick and stick houses here, all 1m apart. That's our plan......

[member=59890]Grakat[/member] the ultimate plan is to get out of Sydney .. heading north, but really not sure how far. Once we're sold we're going to live with most of our stuff in storage and use our free time to hunt. Byron and Noosa hinterlands look promising, though there's a few places on the central coast that look nice too. We toyed with the idea of going south .. between Berry and Narooma .. but my wife and I like the warmth. I'd ideally like a minimum of 2 good hectares, but more "buffer" would be nice as long as it doesn't require maintenance.

Where I am is about 10m above sea level, so I've probably got till 2200.

Our plan B is just north of Newcastle at Clarence Town, and we have 2.5 acres on which we will build one day. About 1hr to Newie and the beach, 35 minutes to Raymond Terrace.

Good luck with your plan.

I didn't intend to buy any Festool tools today, but....

I bought some Festool hand sanding pads. Not seen them before but they wee cheap. 6 pads for around £3.60
