What Festool Did You buy Today?

A KS 60 E-UG-Set/XL came by, pre-owned at a very nice price.
Bought it from a pro carpenter who treated his tools with care. This is easier to move about than the KS120, and was put to work the next day framing a partition wall inside, it performed effortlessly.
Great buy!

Gosh I wish we could get those in the States. It's really all I'd ever need. A used one in good condition would be even better. Congrats!

This has been a very Festool year (thanks Covid for giving me a new money sucking hobby).  Yesterday after much research I managed to find a STM-1800 in stock.  That was a challenge, but thank you Festool Supertore in LA for shipping yesterday.

Looking to handling lots of sheet goods in shelf and cabinet builds this coming spring so this will be a great flexible work surface for my garage shop.  Also just received 90lbs of Walnut to make a new L return 72”x 30” + 48” x 27”.  Only 4/4 x5” boards but exciting project for my new Standing sitting desk.  Happy New year building and working guys!

Strange that FT doesn’t offer this in the US, KS 120 being so popular... The KS 60 is common amongst fitters and carpenters here, so with hobbyists and woodworkers too.
It’s a great little saw, easy to carry too. Although it seems noisier than the KS 120, the carpenter noted me about it, as he did also have the KS 120. I’ll run them side by side to compare soon.
The shadow light is so much more useful than lasers, and I do use this feature, I never use the laser on my KS 120.

The shadow light is so much more useful than lasers, and I do use this feature, I never use the laser on my KS 120.

Today I was using a 7.5" Ridgid SCMS that has shadow lines thinking, "Doesn't the KS-60 come with this feature? I really want one of those!"

I wonder where you would ever use that? You mean 498528, right? Use the D36 hose on your sander / jigsaw / OF 1010??

Yup used it with my domino yesterday. I also used it with my TS55 yesterday to. I gave pretty good extraction just like using the 36mm hose

My TS55 takes the 36mm hose without adapter.

Can u use that hose w yer 700 then switch it to your domino then switch it to a sander of your choice then back to your TS? I just put the adapter in and leave it. I think the adapter w the 36mm hose does just as good of extraction as the 36mm hose does w/o the adapter

New UG stand and the vacuum hose adapter .
Interesting thing about the hose thing, it is lacking the annoying locking ring of the newer hoses.

I bought another CXS...I can be a "two fisted" CSX-er now which will be very handy for assembly work where drill/countersink and screws are in play. Using one of my heavier Festool drill/drivers for one function has worked fine, but it will be nice not having the extra weight. A fellow won it in a raffle, didn't need it and sold it to me. It arrives tomorrow.

Aah that way.

If you use the planar; no, you want the D36 hose-end.

I have to do this awkward bullnosing job on some stair treads I didn't install. There was a bunch of tearout that nobody noticed until the painter stained them. Anyway, I already have a Fastcap little lipper mounted to my cordless trim router, but I thought this might be a good job for the OF 1010, so I bought the Edging Plate and Angle Arm. I'll do a mock-up pass or two first and try whichever tool/method seems to work best. Wish me luck!

I picked up a Conturo set, MFT Conturo table, and MFK 700 EQ the other day. Setup and calibration of the components is complete. It works like a charm and is very easy to use. I'm not doing anything fancy at this point, just applying 1mm banding to slab doors made from a nice Panolam premium laminate. But WOW it works well, and very easy to use!
