I also bought my 2nd holey 1400 recently, but I have the old style Festool guiderail bag, the one with the separate pocket for a 800 rail. Doubt I can fit 3 rails in there. (Also have non-holey 1400)

Festool 204822... but that one has a permanent (?) bypass. Great...
I guess for the oldstyle D27 hose I need the 202346? [huh]

Ha, I am amazed to see they made this. Another sign they closely watch this forum.
And I can't understand why Festool keeps doing everything that has to do with vacuum cleaners wrong.
PERMANENT bypass ... really? For the small sanders, ok, but how about when you're doing clean up or have a saw attached or a router? Then you want maximum suction. So you can't have this nozzle installed on your hose. Who uses his vac only with one type of tool?

"For all sanders, to improve handling. Especially on/with RTS 400, RTSC 400, DTS 400, DTSC 400, ETS 125, ETSC 125 and RO 90 models."
And actually the German site is pretty specific:
"Functions:
Prevents sander from sticking to smooth surfaces."
The official translation on the co.uk. site reads:
"for improved control of all sanders, especially recommended for RTS 400, RTSC 400, DTS 400, DTSC 400, ETS 125, ETSC 125 and RO 90"
"Functions
- prevents sticking on smooth surfaces"
Personally I think that's pretty clear. Never trust dealer's website - one way or another, always verify with festool.de or festool.co.uk if unsure. You can even clearly read "Bypass" in the official picture.
Kind regards,
Oliver

I don’t think that they make the extra soft backing pad for the RO 90 but the interface pads can be stacked on top of each other to create a great contour. If you use them just be super careful when you pull them off as they can tear easily and they are too pricey for that.
