What Festool Did You buy Today?

I installed the app for my Mirka sanders, and the amount of settings configurability, data analysis and retrieval, and thresholds you can set are just astounding.

Mirka actually seems to have built all the EU OH&S regs into it, so you get a complete breakdown of all the hardware details and history, as well as incredibly detailed usage status and thresholds to ensure the workplace and tool usage is fully compliant.

Little over the top for me, but for a company wanting to avoid RSI and reduce injury claims it would be a godsend, as well as providing a complete and verifiable work record.

Feel like I got lucky on an unused DF700 with both tenon kits and the connector set from a member here. Super happy to have added this to my arsenal and not to have paid the sky high price this tool now goes for new.
Sensational! I can't believe how much the Domino's have risen in cost. I bought mine not that many years ago it feels, and it came with 2 cutters, a small amount of tenons, the trim stop, and the cross stops, for about $1000AUD less than the same kit with just 1 cutter and no trim stop or cross stops is now!

I got a little outta hand today...
Found a woodworker selling an ETS 150/5 and ended up also getting an LR 32-SYS set, FS 1400/2-LR 32 rail, and a SYS-ROLL. Then met up with another woodworker on Marketplace to pick up an older DTS 400 EQ-Plus.

Did the first seller even take them out of their cases at any point? They look mint!

That guy took very good care of his tools. You can see the pad age on the 150/5 but he had two of the LR-32 Sets and this was their unused extra kit. He had a great shop too - about as messy exploded as mine but all the gear was maintained, cleaned and kept in pristine condition. And he was a working professional for decades.

Stopped by my local Festool dealer today (Paul B Hardware in Mechanicsburg, PA). I have a 100yr Anniversary Edition RO150 reserved for me. Also picked up two FS1400 guide rails to replace the Milwaukee rails I bought when I purchased my Milwaukee track saw. The Milwaukee guide rails seem "cheaper" in quality than the Festool rails. Maybe I am overthinking it, though.

I don't think that's an option, there's only dust collection capability. However, you could always fabricate your own vacuum pad assy and attach it to the MB 40.
hmm, yeah, misread, it was a question:

But you know, I think I could 3D print something to make that work..... 🥸

Pre-ordered the new MB 40 Set. Looking forward to augmenting my hole drilling repertoire with fully compatible equipment. I wish this had been available before. I could have avoided my "permanently captured" C18/Rockler setup. 😜

I think the MB 40 is pretty reasonably priced considering what the competition is offering and it's all packed into an $80 Systainer.
For a comparison:
Festool $264
Rockler $210
UJK $225
Wood River $200
Woodpecker's $310

Agreed, my friend! The MB 40 also allows me to take the drill off and use it for other things!

Do wish the MB-40 could drill on angles
That is the only thing it doesn't do. But I think the compatibility with Festool FastFix drills and the Centrotec system more than makes up for it.

I also have the Rocker version, got it several years ago, the MB-40 is much easier to setup. Of course, the MB-40 only works with Festool drills.
