So what really happens if youre not happy with a tool?  I presume i pay for return shipping? Is it just im.unhappy or need to be indepth?  So far ive been happy just curious on how hassle free it is? Thx

The specific process could vary a bit depending on who you purchased the tool from. However, in North America we have a 30-day return policy on tools. If you’re not happy for any reason, you should be able to return it without needing to explain why.

Yes, but for most the coping process starts with buying more tools...  Then repeat until you are happy.  [big grin]

To expand on what [member=101]Festool USA[/member] wrote, if you bought your tool from a local dealer - take it back.  You should not get a hassle.

If you bought on the internet, then you may have to pay return shipping.  Other than that you shouldn't get hassled.

NOW for the bad part.  Unless this has been changed here in North America (and please [member=101]Festool USA[/member] correct me if I am incorrect), Let's say you you were in the market for a track saw.  And after reading the posts here you went all in.  TS-55, longer tracks, all the blades to fit the various situations - rip, combo, fine.  Then within the return policy you decide you don't like the saw.  You can return the saw and the track that came with it, but not the other stuff.

Individual dealers might handle this type of situation differently, but thee are no guarantees what will happen with accessories bought at the time of initial tool purchase.

That is what I usually do!  [big grin]

Also, Festools are easily sold here on the FOG and I very much appreciate the Classifieds.  Thanks, Festool for not closing that!
