ScotF said:Enjoy your new tools! That is an awesome set-up...love Festool router bits too -- I was fortunate enough to grab a bunch of them while they still had a few for sale and they are extremely well made...wish Festool carried them again. That set is a great collection of some of the most used bits for sure.

First thing I noticed was the working height, love it. Overall it's a game changer for me, going to enable me to rout like mad-man!! It's still in my living room like a shrine. I am thinking of leaving it there until the wife is willing to broker a deal to move her CRAP out of my workshop area.

My wife thought I was a nut job when I brought mine into the living room and set it up the day I received it.

It may sound cruel - but leave her now, she just doesn't understand us [wink]
My garage is carpeted - my wife often comes out with a coffee or a snack for me while I'm sitting on the floor with a few systainers open playing with the pieces like a 5 year old ... it must be so common place to her now that it doesn't even put a bump in the conversation.

It is the perfect height. If you have not already, highly recommend the cross members -- makes the table much more rigid IMHO. Also, clamping elements really help with routing, especially on edge. This addiction is hard to stop...soon as you get something and think you are done you start wanting the next thing...
