What size kerf are Festool Jigsaw Blades?

I checked and could not find anything on this -- I would guess somewhere around 2mm or so, but if anyone knows or could measure the thickness of a blade or kerf line I would appreciate it.  Thanks!

I am trying to get something that will be close to the kerf of a TS75 blade -- I realize that it might not be exact and probably narrower, which is OK.  Probably one of the fine general purpose or perpendicular blades -- item 486548 and 486549.

The jigsaw blades for wood have a set to the teeth that has to be considered.  Truest comparison is to measure the cuts they make in something like MDF.

Smooth cutting jigsaw blades leave a kerf only a little wider than 1 mm so you'll have a difference of about 1.5mm compared to a 75 saw blade.

When doing pocket cuts in sheet goods I like to finish the corners with a cordless jigsaw so I want matching kerfs and I want the uncut portion to be as short as possible. I get both with this small diameter narrow kerf blade.

Despite the size of the picture, it only fits the 55 saws.

Blade thickness is 2.2 mm ... (found od German Ebay)  [wink]
I also know that Leitz ( from Austria ) offer/makes similar blades, but with 2.4mm of thickness and those blades do fit on Festool.

Won't jigsaw blades vary by blade type and intended usage?  The Festool chart on page 64 does not indicate kerf width.

All kidding aside, I have found that using a pull saw to finish the cut can't be beat. I have one with a smaller blade to use when the need arises. The blade can be set along an edge and does a great job. I use the pull saw on stair stringers/carriages, rafter bird mouths it works so well.

I've done some searching on German Ebay:
Festool 496301 - 12 teeth, 2.2 mm blade thickness
Festool 496302 - 28 teeth, 2.2 mm blade thickness
Festool 496306, 496308 and 491952 - all the same thickness
That's for TS 55, 75, ATF 55 and AP 55.

And I do know, that saw blades for table saws vary by blade type and usage, yes.
