I have 6m3 (or 2500bft) of these Azobe timber.

any ideas?

unfortunately they are short, mostly between 300mm- 600mm, or have a cut slot in them.

I have tried herringbone flooring before but hard to compete with imports.

Hi Albert,

Hmm, quite the quandary! Given the excellent exposure properties, I wonder if there is a marine/boating application you could explore?

Looking on the Wood Database, Azobe has nearly double the performance of Ash in terms of Modulus of Rupture, Elastic Modulus, etc, perhaps you could turn some amazing baseball or cricket bats, or perhaps hammer handles?.....

Window and door sills.  The upgrade I sometimes see is sills made from marble or granite.  But with excellent weather resistance and the dark rich grain, a nice upgrade too.

Highly visible, so you would probably get some comments.  And you likely will never have to paint it.

Humidors! Line this inside with cedar with that wood grain pattern…. Gorgeous.
